Available Roles

Front Desk & Customer Service

Help customers, answer phones, explain our Linux computers and assist with purchases.

Requirements

Linux familiarity and comfort with Computerbank's customised desktop distribution.

Shifts
  • Tuesday 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM Vacancy
  • Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Vacancy

Build Room & Warehouse

Assemble computers per procedures, assess donated equipment, wipe hard drives, manage recycling and maintain the warehouse.

Requirements

Linux knowledge is essential, along with component assembly. Command-line skills required.

  • Tuesday 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM Vacancy
  • Thursday 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM Vacancy
  • Friday 9:15 AM – 4:30 PM Filled

In-House & Telephone User Support

Provide patient, hands-on support for new users and troubleshoot technical issues in person and over the phone.

Requirements

Patience, command-line expertise, and deep knowledge of Linux and our customised distribution.

  • Thursday 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM Filled
  • Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Filled
