Back to news

Welcome to our new website

Computerbank has been refurbishing donated computers and getting them into the hands of people who need them since 1998. Our website has changed a handful of times over the years, as we have moved premises and grown. This is its latest, and most thorough, rebuild.

We have rebuilt the site from the ground up. It is faster on older machines, works properly on a phone, and makes it easier to find what you came for.

What is new

  • Our real stock, kept up to date. The computers page now shows what is actually on the shelves right now, with prices, specifications and photos pulled straight from our shop.

  • A clearer path to getting a computer. If you hold a concession card, study, or are supported by a community group, the site explains what you need and how to buy.

  • Somewhere to keep you posted. This news page is where we will share stock updates, opening hours, working bees and stories from the workshop.

  • An easier way to help out. The volunteering page lists our current roles and shifts, so you can see where you might fit before you get in touch.

Built by volunteers, for the community

Like everything we do, this website was put together by volunteers giving their time. If you find something broken or confusing, please tell us. We would much rather hear about it than have you struggle with it.

Thank you to everyone who has donated a computer, bought one, or spent a Saturday in the build room over the years. This site is for you.

Come and say hello

You will find us at 60 Belfast Street, Broadmeadows. Take a look at what is in stock, or join the team. We are glad you are here.
